Vintage Frames

My mom scanned a whole slew of (ancient) photos of her when she was a kid an various family members not too long ago and when I saw them I was inspired. What if I made frames from these old pictures? Not only would I have some awesome (if I do say so myself) looking old vintage frames to photoshop my pictures with but it would be amazing to preserve family photos in this way. Bringing the old to the new so to speak. So I've been working on these all day (between diaper changes and fussy sick baby moments) and I am in love with them! I think they're fabulous. Thanks Mom!

I used each one on a photo of Miss Anna so everybody could see what they look like. There are ten in all. They're not huge, so I'm not sure how they would look printed. But they're perfect for online photos and/or digital scrapbooking!

My little pea in Great Grandma's frame, how cool is that?

They can be downloaded here or here!

It's been a pretty uneventful day around here. Felix has the swine flu and Isabelle woke up this morning with a fever so she got to stay home. He was still feverish this morning but tonight it looks like we might be over that stage of it. However.... Gabe's laying here on my bed fully dressed (including coat and shoes) completely zonked out. He's feverish. Hooray.

I've also been working on some new textures though I haven't gotten very far with them yet. When I finally get them done, I'll post them on here.
